Melba Clark

Melba Lee Caulk Clark, 73, of Council, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at Bladen County Hospital.



Born January 16, 1933, in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late John Raymond and Lena Gertrude McLean Caulk.



Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her parents and husband, Edward Neil Clark.



Mrs. Clark is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Clark Sasser and husband, Herbert Elroy Sasser of Elizabethtown; one son, Jimmy Neil Clark of Bolton, N.C.; one brother, Raymond Curtis Caulk of Leslie, Michigan; one sister, Ruth Neal Herring of Laurel Hill, N.C.; two grandsons, Brian Keith Sasser of Elizabethtown, N.C. and Wadus Alexander Clark II of Delco, N.C.; one granddaughter, Christy Sasser Pridgen of Elizabethtown, N.C.; and four great grandchildren, Katlyn Nicole Sasser, Dalton Herbert Pridgen, Jessica LeAnne Pridgen, and Hayden Keith Sasser all of Elizabethtown, N.C.



The visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Bladen Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in White Plains Presbyterian Church cemetery.
