Melvin Bryan

Melvin Eugene Bryan, 73, of Bladenboro passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. He was born on December 8, 1937 to the late Eugene and Bessie Hester Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents.



The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Edwards and Rev. Charles Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.



Mr. Bryan is survived his wife, Emily Smith Bryan of the home; two sons, Eric Bryan and wife Lisa of Ivanhoe and Greg Bryan of Greenville, SC; one daughter, Sharon Gagnon and husband Mark of Fayetteville; three brothers, Bobby, Jerry and Donald Bryan, all of Bladenboro; five grandchildren: Blake, Taylor, Michelle, Kristen, and Gregory; and one great-grandchild, Lillian.
