Michael Shaw

Michael Keith Shaw, 47, of Tar Heel, NC passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Shaw and grandparents: Guardrow and Leola Shaw (whom raised him in Bladen County). Michael leaves behind his wife: Nina B. Shaw, two sons: Brandon Bruce and Caleb Bruce, all of the home; mother: Brenda Warwick of Lumberton; one brother: James Robert Shaw (Faith) of Jacksonville and one sister: Joey Shaw Wilson (Jon) of Bladenboro.

Michael was a loving family man and the type of person that always put others before himself. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Nina at home watching Netflix or grilling out with family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting with his sister, riding dirt bikes or the Jet Ski, working in his yard and playing with his dog Maggie. Michael's generous heart and joking demeanor will forever be missed.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Sunday, March 10th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Michael Skinner officiating service.
