Morris Lindbergh Brisson, 88, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Brisson and Bertha Dowless Brisson, his wife, Rosa Marlene Brisson, one daughter-in-law Cheryl Brisson, and four sisters: Eunice Tilley, Leta Butler, Dottie Burney, and Larren Johnson. Morris is survived by his two sons: Morris Brisson and Randy Brisson (Susan), both of Bladenboro, one sister Hilda Hester of Bladenboro, three grandchildren: Cassy Sutton (Johnaton), Michelle Spivey (Josh), Trenton Brisson, and three great grandchildren: Johnaton Sutton Jr., Elliott Sutton, and Noelle Sutton.
Morris was a loving, God fearing, family man. He was known for telling “old stories” and teaching squirrels to eat out of his hands. He loved his walk in the woods just taking in the Lord’s creation and watching westerns on tv. Morris had 49 years of perfect attendance at church. His grandson, Trenton would tell you that his “Pa” was a strong Christian man who had the strongest faith of anyone he ever knew. He was always the one they could go to for advice. His legacy of faith, love, and commitment have left an everlasting impression on those who knew him. They look forward to seeing him again one day.
