Mr. Herbert Hester

Herbert Thomas "Mr. Tommy" Hester, 67, of Elizabethtown passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son Matthew Hester, his parents Robert and Mary Hester and his brother Robert James Hester II. Survivors include his wife Cindy B. Hester of the home, one son Robert Thomas Hester, and one grandson Cole Hester, both of Elizabethtown.
Mr. Tommy was an avid fisherman, hunter and coin collector. He loved working at Wal-Mart communicating with people on a daily basis but his greatest passion was working with the Boy Scouts of America. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown on Sunday, April 27, 2014 followed by a Memorial service at 3:00 pm with Rev. Bill Tatum and Bennie Benton officiating.
