Nadine Dowless

Nadine Hill Dowless, 87, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at her home in the care of Liberty Hospice. Born March 23, 1929 in Bladen County, Nadine was the daughter of the late AJ and Kinnie Hill. She is preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Nadine is survived by her daughters: Diane Sullivan (Thomas) of Elizabethtown and Cindy Blanks of White Oak; two brothers: Timothy Hill (Rachel) and Billy Hill (Betty); two sisters: Abby Lee (Wayne) and Faye Register (Roy); four grandchildren: Chaura Caston, April Miller, Crystal Miller and Brian Blanks and three great grandchildren: Chelby Caston, Cayden Caston and Chance Miller.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 21st from 6:30-8:30 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and also at her home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 22nd at 11 am at Elizabethtown Baptist Church followed by burial in the Hill Family Cemetery in Tar Heel. Rev. Warren Hill and Rev. Wayne Lee will be officiating the services.
