Nancy Garner Pait, age 64, of Bladenboro, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. She is predeceased by her father, R.D. Garner and a brother, Carroll Garner.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Pait of the home; mother, Gertrude Garner of Dublin; one daughter, Juli Pait Feight and husband Edward of Live Oak; one brother, Wendell Garner and wife Beverley of Dublin; five sisters, Barbara Veeder of Elizabethtown, Wilma Callihan of Dublin, Phyllis Nunalee of Wilmington, Marcy Carter of Dunn, and Jennifer Melvin of Hope Mills; four grandchildren: Kyle,Trevor,Noah and Joah Feight.
Nancy was a kind, caring person often caring about others rather than herself. She loved her family dearly and her grandchildren were the apples of her eyes. The mountains were her favorite place to visit because she loved the beauty of God's creations. Mrs. Nancy will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Bladen Funeral Home from 6:00PM to 8:00 Pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Center Road Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Barry Byrd and Rev. David Rutland officiating. Burial will follow at New Pait Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Robert Veeder, Bruce Veeder, Brian Veeder, Scott Bell, Brad Garner, Lane Garner,Brandon Smith, Wesley Skinner,Jay Nunalee, and Chris Nunalee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Bladen Baptist Association (AGAPE Fund) at P.O. Box 62 Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
