Nancy White

Nancy Joe White, 79, of Clarkton passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Burnice and Lelah Miller, son Scott White, sister Ann Fisher and two infant siblings. Nancy is survived by two sons: Mike White of Clarkton and Kennie White and wife Lynn of Whiteville, daughter Jackie White of Clarkton; two brothers: Dick Miller and wife Phyllis of Clarkton and William Miller and wife Rosemary of Wrightsville Beach and one grandson Ethan Scott White of Elizabethtown.

Nancy loved life and her family. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Nancy had a way with words, always making jokes with everyone. She endured a lot in life and losing her son Scott took a great toll on her. After his death she was never the same again, taken ill for the remainder of her life. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 3 pm officiated by Rev. Stuart Link. Burial will follow the services in the Clarkton Cemetery.
