Nelson Bollinger

Nelson Gray Bollinger, 77, of Bladenboro, died Wednesday, May 23, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Elizabethtown.



He was a son of the late Jettie Lee Bollinger and Prudence Bigford Bollinger born 31 Oct, 1934 in Delco, Columbus Co, NC. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Justine Bollinger and a son Brian K Bollinger.



He was retired Ironworker having worked on many buildings, bridges, and towers all over the United States.



The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p. m. Saturday graveside at Weyman Chapel Cemetery.



He is survived by a daughter, Lynn L. Bryan; two sons, Anthony L Bollinger and Eric N Bollinger; a brother, Grady Norwood Bollinger of Kelly, North Carolina; a sister, Maynell Fincham of Virginia; and eight grandchildren.



In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Weyman's Chapel Cemetery Fund, care of Pat Hargrove, 4627 Old Stage Hwy., Riegelwood, N. C. 28456.
