Norman Edwin Page, age 82, of Clarkton died Sunday, April 24, 2011. Mr. Page was the President of Paul H. Sessoms Company in Elizabethtown. He was born in Horry County on March 14, 1929 to the late Jessie James and Lillie Marie Frink Page.



Norman was a man of many interests. He was a member of the Lions Club for over 50 years where he received the 50 year Monarch Milestone Chevron Award. In his early years (1950) he was a member of the Clarkton Volunteer Fire Dept. He first moved to Clarkton to manage the Carolina Dept. Store and then later he worked for the G.V. Singletary store in Whiteville. In 1983 he purchased Paul H Sessoms Wholesale Store in Elizabethtown, where he actively worked until his death last Sunday, April 24, 2011. Mr. Norman loved his church, Clarkton First Baptist, where he served as a Deacon, Usher and Sunday School Secretary for many years. His main hobbies were restoration of Old Antique Pump Organs, working in his garden and driving his tractor. What a joy that was to him.





Norman is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myrtle West Page of the home; one son, Randy Page of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Norma Jean Page of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two brothers, Charles and J. C. Page both of Loris, SC; one sister, Annie Mae Bellamy of Loris, SC.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Clarkton with Rev. Roy Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Twin City Memorial Gardens in Loris, SC.
