Norman Rowan

October 8, 1938 — December 11, 2005

WHITE LAKE Norman Ray Rowan Sr., 67, of White Lake, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 in Georgia.



He was an employee of Venture Construction for 30 years.



Mr. Rowan was a Navy veteran.



He was the son of the late Norman Henry and Mary Potter Rowan



He is survived by his spouse, Jean Best Tew; daughter, Karen Whittenton and husband Charles of White Lake; grandson Justin Whittenton of White Lake; sons Rick Rowan of Dover, Nick Rowan of Dover, and Ray Rowan of Georgia; daughters Ashley Rowan of Dover and Cindy Scarbrough of Georgia; two sisters and several grandchildren.



The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, at Bladen Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 12 noon till 1 p.m. at Bladen Funeral Home. The burial will be in Devotional Garden, Dunn.
