Norman Spurling

Norman Edwin Spurling, Jr., 47, of Bladenboro passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. He was born in Bladen County on July 5, 1963.





He is survived by his wife, Kim Hester Spurling of the home; two sons,Robert Spurling of Lumberton and Dustin Spurling of the home, and one stepson, Christopher Johnson of Bladenboro; his parents: Norman E. Spurling, Sr. of Hardville, SC; Mamie Seals and stepfather, Billy Seals of Bladenboro; two stepbrothers, Gerald Seals of Puerto Rico and Richard Seals of Stedman; four grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Oak Grove Original FWB Church with Rev. Henry Ward and Rev. Scott Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
