Council - Obie \\"Bill\\" Landreth, Sr., 59, of Council, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, in his home.

Mr. Landreth was an Army veteran.

Services: Graveside, 3 p.m. Wednesday in White Plains Church cemetery.

Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bladen Funeral Home & Cremations in Elizabethtown.

Survived by: Sons, Billy Landreth and Joseph Landreth; daughter, Angela Clanton; brothers, Howard Harris, Steve, Robert, Earl, Ronald, Danny and Thomas; sisters, Alice Hair and Mary Hair; and five grandchildren.
