Ora Edwards

Ora Lee Dove Edwards, 89, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. She was born in Bladen County on April 25, 1922 to the late Calvin Jefferson and Mittie Pate Dove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Edwards and her parents.



She is survived by two sons, N. J. Edwards and wife Hilda of Dunn and Leroy Edwards and wife Joann of Lumberton; one daughter, Catherine Edwards Singletary Cartner and husband Johnny of Bladenboro; three sisters, Lydia Kidd of VA, Delphia Pait of Bladenboro and Alta Musselwhite of Lisbon; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Sandy Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Strole officiating. Burial will follow at Bryant Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandy Grove Baptist Church, 8299 NC 242 Hwy. S., Bladenboro, NC 28320
