Patsy Sealey LeBlanc

Patsy Sealey LeBlanc, age 80, formerly of Proctorville, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, while at Elizabethtown Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Elizabethtown, NC. She was born in Robeson County on May 2, 1944, to the late Morris O. Sealey and Hilda Atkinson Sealey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph F. LeBlanc, brother, Robert (Bobby) Morris Sealey; sister, Jean Sealey Gibson and nephew, Lawrence "Parker" Bridger, II.

Patsy leaves behind a loving family, including her sons Jim Slate Lewis and Baronger Lewis of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter Gina LeBlanc partner James Mitchell of Simi Valley, California; sisters Dottie S. Foti and husband Mark Foti of Woodside, California; Mary Ruth S. Cox and husband Steve Cox of Bladenboro, NC; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one very special niece, Keri Benton, who will always cherish the memory of her Aunt Pat, several other nieces and nephews, and Caroline Lewis. 

A Celebration of life services will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 3:00pm at Bladen-Gaskins Chapel in Bladenboro with Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Leggette-Lewis Cemetery in Fairmont, NC. 

The family will receive friends at the home of Steve and Mary Ruth Cox, located at 109 Sandidge Drive, Bladenboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Mercy House, 501 Doctors Drive, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Liberty Hospice, Elizabethtown Healthcare, and Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Columbus County.
