Paul Eugene McMillan, 82, of LaGrange, Ga., a longtime resident of Elizabethtown, N.C., died Friday at LaGrange Hospice.
There will be a graveside service for Mr.McMillan on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Family Worship Center in White Oak, N.C.
Mr.McMillan was born on Aug. 27, 1930, in White Oak. He owned and operated McMillan Heavy Equipment in Elizabethtown for 40 years before retiring in 1993. He was a lifelong member of Church of God of Prophecy in White Oak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Mittie McMillan; six brothers, Bill, Fred, Austin, Matron, Harry and Robert McMillan; and two sisters, Lena Suggs and Flora Sholar.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Hilda McMillan; a daughter, Lynn McLamb and her husband Scott, both of LaGrange; and two grandchildren, Brett and Lauren McLamb, both of LaGrange.
There will be a visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Family Worship Center.
