Pauline Carroll

Pauline Dove Carroll, age 89, of Dublin passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville.

Pauline was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very family oriented and loved her church and church family. Some of her favorite times were spent working at her church. Gardening was one of her favorite hobbies; she loved vegetable gardening and growing flowers. She loved being with her grandchildren. She loved people and loved to cook and what a wonderful cook she was. She will be missed by all.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Ballard Carroll; her parents, James Alonzo and Myrtle Tyner Dove; one infant daughter, and eight brothers and sisters.



She is survived by one son, Ballard Carroll, Jr. and wife Jane of Dublin; one daughter, Glenda C. Bordeaux and husband Grady of Dublin; one sister, Mildred Nelms of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Julianne, April, Jamie and Timmy and four great-grandchildren, Shawn, Karson, Kyle and Kennedy.



The family will receive friends on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 1:30 until 2:45 pm at Bethel Baptist Church in Dublin. The service will follow at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. Warren Hill and Dr. Mack Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery.
