Peggy Nance

Peggy Jean Dove Nance, 75, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was born on September 28, 1938 in Bladen County to the late Ellery and Gladys Trogdon Dove. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Witt Nance; a son, Dewey Nance and one sister, Christine Nance.

Peggy is survived by four sons, Sidney Nance of Bladenboro, Rev. Mitchell Nance of Bladenboro, Kenneth Paul Nance of Tabor City and Thomas Nance of Bladenboro; one daughter, Darlene Hammond of Bladenboro; two brothers, Billy Dove and David Dove both of Bladenboro; two sisters, Janice Wright of Bladenboro and Linda Paul of Lumberton; one God son, Bennie Nance; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Smith Officiating. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery at Butters.
