Phillip Lennon

Phillip Andrew Lennon Sr., 63, of Elizabethtown gained his wings on Monday, May 25th, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Luther Lennon Sr.; Mother, Mary Everette Lennon; daughter, Elizabeth Christina Lennon; brothers, Joseph Luther Lennon Jr. (J.L.), and David Randolph Lennon.

Phillip is survived by three children: Phillip “Andy” Andrew Lennon Jr. (Emily) of Bladenboro, Jessica Lennon (Miguel) of Elizabethtown, and Matthew Douglass of Clayton; four grandchildren: Luis Diaz Lennon (Jessica), Juan Diaz Lennon (Jessica), Gustavo Diaz Lennon (Jessica), and Nevaeh Lennon (Phillip); two brothers: Jesse Lennon (Kristie) of White Lake, Jimmy Lennon (Bonnie) of Elizabethtown; two sisters: Swannie Rogers of Garland, and Eloise Hill (Stuart) of Chadbourn; and several nieces and nephews.

Phillip never met a stranger and was well known and loved by everyone in the community. He loved his family, especially his grandkids. He had his only granddaughter Nevaeh, wrapped around his finger, and the grandsons loved to hang with Paw-Paw and talk and eat! His other love was his dog Chula, she meant the world to him.  “Bo-Ander” as many knew him by, will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 3pm- 6pm on Saturday, May 30th, at 1879 Sweet Home Church Rd., Elizabethtown.
