R. Williams

Mr. R.T. Williams 81, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.

Mr. Williams was a devoted member of New Light Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church where he taught the Adult Men\\'s Sunday School class for over 30 years, and served as deacon for 55 years. Mr. Williams served as the Post Master for the Bladenboro Post Office for 27 years and was in the US Navy for 3 years.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 4 2008, from 6:00 until 8:00pm at New Light Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5 2008, at 2:00pm at New Light Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Cox and Mr. Ronnie McKeithan officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Church Cemetery.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Kathy Williams of the home; his daughter Rhonda Ellis and husband Wayne of Selma; two grandsons, Chris Ellis and wife, Patricia and Kevin Ellis; and a great granddaughter, Taylor Ellis.
