Rachel Mcculloch

Rachel Marie McCulloch, 80, of Council went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simeon McLean and Cora Vendrick McLean, her husband Hobson McCulloch, one son, Thomas McCulloch and eight siblings. Rachel leaves behind one daughter, Annette Elkins and husband Joey of Clarkton; one sister-in-law, Louise Quick, one grandson, Christopher and several nieces and nephews.

Rachel was a loving, giving, patient and Godly woman. She loved her family, especially her grandson, Christopher. She spent much time reading her bible and, on her knees, praying for her family as well as others.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2-3 pm at Council Baptist Church in Council, NC. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm with Rev. Jack Miller and Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Clarkton City Cemetery.
