Rachel Walters

Mrs. Rachel Priest Walters, 71, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 8, 2008.



Mrs. Walters is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Homer and Ruby Burney Priest, and a brother, Charles Claxton Priest. She was born in Bladen County and later moved to Virigina. She retired to Boiling Springs, NC where she enjoyed playing golf and fishing.



The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 11, 2008, from 4:00 until 6:00pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home



The funeral will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008, at 2:00pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert McClean officiating. Burial will follow in the Grimes-Tatum Cemetery.



Mrs. Walters is survived by her husband Richard Preston Walters Sr. of the home; two sons, \\"Ricky\\" Richard Preston Walters Jr. and wife Susan of Chester, Va.; \\"Tim\\" Charles Timothy Walters and wife Michelle of Powhatan, Va.; a daughter, Ronda Walters Bailey and husband Jim of Chester, Va.; a special aunt, Maggie Burney Grimes of Tarheel; four grandchildren, Nicole Walters, Preston Walters, James Bailey and Timmy Walters; also two step-granddaughters, Chelsea and Rachael.
