Ralph Barnes

Ralph R. Barnes, 67, of Garland went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert W. and Effie Barnes, sister Mildred Jones, and two brothers: Jake Barnes and Wayne "Bo" Barnes Sr. Ralph is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Barnes of the home; one daughter Meredith Barnes Cain and husband John Robert Cain, granddaughter Edyn Faith Barnes Cain, and three sisters: Ruth Oliver, Pam Best, and Cathy O'Bday.

Ralph was a God fearing, hardworking man. He loved his family and loved spreading God's word to all he come in contact with. Ralph was a jokester and could make you think and laugh all at the same time, while getting his point across. He also loved Elvis, fishing and hunting. More than anything, Ralph loved spending time with "his girls" Patricia, Meredith, and Edyn. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, July 28th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 3 pm at Windsor United Methodist Church in Ammon with Rev. Dodd Drake and Pastor Brock Meyer officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Beards Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in White Lake.
