Richard Cox

Richard Thomas "Tommy" Cox II, 63, of Clarkton passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his father Richard Thomas Cox Sr. Tommy is survived by his mother Florence G. Cox, of Clarkton; one brother David Cox and wife Dolores of Winston Salem; one sister Maria Edwards and husband Dale of Clarkton; one nephew Bryce Cox and one niece Ava Cox.

Tommy was a simple, practical man who has lived in Clarkton all of his life. He was a sweet and quiet soul who loved his family and loved people. He will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Clarkton Presbyterian Church in Clarkton, NC officiated by Rev. Steuart Link. A visitation will be held in church sanctuary following the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Florence Cox.
