Richard Dunham

Richard Clyde Dunham, 71 of White Oak passed away on November 19, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 18, 1951, to the late Mangum Jr. and Madge Hackett Dunham. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara Melvin Dunham, and sister Kay Brake. Richard retired from the Bladen County School system with more than 30 years of service. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in White Oak.
He leaves behind two sons; Kevin Dunham and wife Jennifer; and Justyn Dunham all White Oak. grandchildren Garrett and Luke Dunham; two brothers, John William Dunham (Billy) and wife Jene of New Bern; Steve Dunham and wife Debbie of White Oak; sister, Linda Bryan and husband Michael of Raleigh, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, from 11am until 12 noon in the fellowship hall at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with the funeral service to follow at 12 with Rev. Mark Gustafson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
