Richard Kinlaw

Richard William Kinlaw, 58, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Newman. Richard is survived by his parents, Billy and Hilda Kinlaw of Dublin; one brother, Gary Kinlaw of Dublin; cousins: Joe Abbott of Tar Heel; Tommy and Allen Smothers of Myrtle Beach; one nephew, Colby Newman of Dublin; and two aunts: Myrtle Hester of Dublin and Norma Smothers of Myrtle Beach.

Richard had a very caring heart and expressed it always with a hug. Richard shared a special bond with his parents, never failed to call his dad or to give his mom random hugs and kisses. He enjoyed sports, fishing and hunting. His big heart and generous personality will be missed a great deal.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 17th at Dublin First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Warren Hill, Rev. Tommy Knight and Rev. Jason Lee officiating. Burial will follow the services in Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Dublin First Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
