Robert James Edwards

 Robert James Edwards, 78, United States Army Veteran of Clarkton passed away at his home on Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born in Bladen County on November 4, 1944, the son of the late Leonard Ezzell and Dottie Edwards Johnson. He was preceded also by brothers, Bald Johnson, Dewey Ezzell, son Robert Earl Edwards and two granddaughters Alicea Haiden and Kirsten Peace.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Frances Edwards of the home, two daughters Annette Edwards of Tomahawk, WI, Tammy Edwards of Delaware City, DE, three sisters May Kemp, Doris Unruh, and Deborah Woolley, and three grandchildren James Haiden, Michael Peace and Cassandra Peace.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 6:00 pm at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
