Robert Savage

Robert Roger Savage Jr., age 84, of Council passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents: Roger and Ottie Savage and two sisters: Geraldine Phillips and Mildred Adams. Robert leaves behind his wife Jeanette Savage of the home, son Robert Savage III and wife Suzanne of Lisbon, daughter Katherine Britt and husband Rudy of Elizabethtown, four grandchildren: Julie Britt Sasser and husband Stanley, Clark Britt and wife Cassie, Collier Savage, and Virginia Savage and four great grandchildren: Britt Sasser, Mollie Sasser, Ryker Britt, and Rhett Britt.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Thursday, May 3rd at Lisbon Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Hill officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Council.
