Ronald Allen

Ronald "Ron" Phillip Allen, Jr. 36, of Bladenboro and formerly of Tar Heel, died Friday, September 22, 2006.



Mr. Allen was born to Ronald Phillip Allen and Alice Gibson Allen on December 4, 1969. He grew up in the Tar Heel Community and was dedicated to Community Service. He was an officer of the Tar Heel Fire Department, member of the Board of Directors, and a certified firefighter. Mr. Allen was a member of Tar Heel Baptist Church.



Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Gibson.



In addition to his mother and father, Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Jennifer; son, Cody Arnold; daughters Allison "Alli" Allen and Cheyanne Arnold; maternal grandparents, T.G. and Joyce Edwards; and paternal grandparents, John and Mozelle Henry.



The visitation will be held from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Tar Heel Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2006 at Tar Heel Fire Department with Dr. Tom Willoughby and Rev. Michael Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in the Tar Heel Baptist Church cemetery.
