Ronald Bruce Perkins
Ronald Bruce Perkins, 77, of Bladenboro, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Perkins and Anniebell Pait Perkins.
Ronald leaves behind his wife, Elease Dove Perkins of the home; son, Wesley Perkins and wife Heather of Tar Heel; daughter, Jennifer Hales and husband Ray of Bladenboro; brother, Jerry Perkins of Clarkton; sister, Linda Bryan of Tobermory; grandchildren: Arron Hales, Joshua Perkins and Alyssa Hales.
Ronald adored the time spent with his family and his grandbabies were his heart. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, rocking on the front porch swing; as well as, bird and squirrel watching. He was a member/deacon of Sandy Grove Baptist Church and was also a head usher for the church. In his spare time, he relaxed and watched a variety of sports including: baseball, wrestling, racing, and Duke basketball.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 9th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A celebration of life service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 10th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home with the Reverends Kevin Kinlaw and Jerry Beck officiating service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231 or to a charity of your choice.
