Reverend Ronnie is remembered as having the kindest, honest, most loving heart. He was the best husband, father, grandparent, and brother. He was a true man of God and the fiercest prayer warrior you would ever hope to encounter. Reverend Ronnie loved big and would always be willing to pray for everyone. He always included the lost in his prayers as it was his desire that nobody would die lost. He was the type of person that could be stern with you but compassionate at the same time, make you laugh then he’d pray for you all in one conversation. He was a constant. A comfort. A companion. He would always be there to pick you up and bring you home. There will never be a better person than him. We were blessed to have known him and to be loved by him.
The family will receive friends from 5-6:45 pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at New Light Church in Bladenboro. A funeral service will follow immediately at 7:00 pm with the Reverend Cory Nance, Aaron Corcelius, and the Reverend Dale Hester officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 13th at Singletary Cemetery in Butters.
