Roselind Britt

Roselind Pait Britt, 57, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She is preceded in death by her father, H. B. Pait Jr. and her mother, Myrtle Britt Pait. Ms. Britt is survived by her devoted husband, Rev. Robert H. Britt, of the home; three sons: Robert Daniel Britt and wife Casandra of Chesapeake, Va; Jeremy Columbus Britt and wife Sandie of Dublin; and Joshua Hardison Britt and wife Monica, of Bladenboro; one brother, Dennis Hayes Pait and wife Sylvia of Fayetteville; two sisters: Gloria Dove Allen and husband Richard of Bladenboro and Teresa Pait Hester and husband Harold of Bladenboro; five grandchildren: Zackery, Triston, Derrian, Owen, and Cara; and many loving nieces and nephews.
After raising her three sons, Roselind graduated with honors from UNC Pembroke and was a loving Elementary school teacher for many years. She served in many capacities at Center Road, Orum, and Beulah Baptist Churches.
Roselind was a compassionate, generous, loving, and caring person with a heart of gold for others. She was very talented and gifted, sharing her accomplishments with those she loved. She loved her husband and family dearly. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Roselind will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched and those who loved her very much.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Center Road Baptist Church in Bladenboro from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00pm at Center Road Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Hill and Rev. Dewayne Lambeth officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Old Pait Family Cemetery in Bladenboro. Pallbearers will include Russell Dove, Jason Pait, Brent Pait, Gary Pait, Zachery Britt, and Triston Britt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Hospice care center of your choice.
