Roy Andrew Nunnery Jr. 65, of 303 Nunnery Ave.

Whiteville, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at home.

Mr. Nunnery was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Bessie Nunnery, and a sister Nancy High. Mr. Nunnery is survived by his wife Sylvia of the home; two daughters, Sherry Joyner of Kenly and Diane Brigman of Clarkton; one sister, Frances Inderlin of Clarkton; one grandson, three granddaughters and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 2, 2009 from 7:00 until 9:00pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 2:00pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain David Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Nunnery Family Cemetery.
