Roy Greg Packer

Roy Gregory Packer, 61, of Bladenboro went to his eternal home on February 27th, 2024 at SECU Hospice House in Bolivia. He was surrounded by loved ones, with music playing in the background and home videos playing on the TV. 

Greg was a man of God, a loving husband, supportive father and devoted friend. He had a passion for music, going to concerts and spending time with his loved ones. He went above and beyond for those he cared about, going out of his way to make sure everyone felt appreciated and loved. Greg was a person who knew how to make heartfelt connections with people and left a lasting impression on those he came across. He had many friends over the course of his life. He loved to travel and watch sports.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Packer and Clarine Packer, his brother Freddy Packer and his beloved fur babies Jake and Peanut Packer. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Lelia Packer (his high-school sweetheart), his oldest daughter Lauren Packer, his middle daughter Lexie Venditti, his youngest son Alex Packer, his son in law Christopher Venditti, his brother Kent Packer and his sister in law Elizabeth Packer. 

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with the Reverend Howard Allbright officiating.
