Ruby Polston

Ruby Lois Muse Polston, age 86, of Bladenboro passed away early Monday morning, September 6, 2010 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in Wilmington. She was born on January 28, 1924 in Bladen County to the late Frank and Nannie Downing Muse.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bleese Polston; and son James Wilbur Polston.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 3:00 pm at West Bladenboro Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Muse officiating. Burial will follow in Singletary Cemetery (Sandhills) in Bladenboro.



Mrs. Polston is survived by two daughters, Dianne Long of Harrells and Jeanette Smith of Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren, Dale Long, Karen Riley, Vicky Williford, Tammy Polston, Betty Ann Pait, James Polston and Bobby Smith; three great grandchildren.
