Ruth Jordan

Ruth Cain Jordan, age 98 of White Oak, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Bethesda Health Care. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Jordan; son, Jimmy Wayne Jordan; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by daughters, Patricia Hufford of White Oak and Jeannette Smith of Fayetteville; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Ruth worked for 20 years at Bladen County Hospital as a nurse's aide until she retired. At age 7, she became the assistant pianist at Suggs Grove Baptist Church, serving 60 plus years as pianist.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Suggs Grove Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bradley Tatum. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
