Sandra Darlene Pait

Sandra Darlene Russ Pait, 68, of Bladenboro, passed away at UNC Health Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, James “J.B.” Russ and Nellie Russ Smith.

Sandra leaves behind her husband of 29 years, Timmy Pait of the home; son, Michael Pait of Bladenboro; daughters: Patti Pait of Bladenboro, Codi Lynn Pait (Kyle) of Bladenboro; sister, Libby Smith of Whiteville; Carolyn Reynolds of Whiteville; grandchild, Kaycei Nobles and husband Matthew of Greenville, NC; special friend of 41 years, Frances Edwards; other friends at hospital, Linda Shelton, Jeannie Gayle Britt, Tammy Adamson and fur baby, Lizzie.

Sandra was a fine Christian lady who loved the Lord. Every week, she and Timmy would read their Sunday School lesson together. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and fur baby, riding the motorcycle with Timmy, going to the mountains and seeing the snow. She was a lab technician for 41 years and loved her job and the people she worked with. Sandra retired from Bladen County Hospital after 17 years of service. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-7pm on Tuesday, January 23^rd at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a memorial service at 7pm. Brother Dale Taylor will officiate service.
