Sarah Britt

Sarah Frances Nance Britt, 89, of Bladenboro, died Thursday, March 30, at Duke University Hospital.



She was born July 6, 1916 to parents Fred T. and Sarah C. Nance. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sybil Britt.



She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Sidney Britt of Bladenboro; sons, Frederick Britt of Bladenboro, and Ronald Britt and wife, Kathy of Sherrill\\'s Ford, NC; sister, Jennie Harris of White Lake; grandchildren, Janet Huggins and Bobby of Elizabethtown, Suzanne Britt of Raleigh, Emily Jackson and Dwayne of Bladenboro, Todd Britt and Michelle of Huntersville, NC, Holly Warren and Ray of Harrisburg, NC; great grandchildren, Britt Huggins, Paige Huggins, Sydney Jackson, Kailey Britt, and Maggie Britt.



The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at First Baptist Church, Bladenboro. The Rev. Bert Young and Dr. Mack Roberts will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Bladen - Gaskins Funeral Home, Elizabethtown. The burial will be in Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
