Sarah Burney

Sarah Ladeana Gaskin Burney, 42, of Bladenboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 31.



She is survived by her husband, Darel Burney of the home; her daughter, Lauren Burney of the home; her mother, Elizabeth Matthews of Whiteville; a brother William "Tac" Ward of Kelly; three sisters, Cheryl Powell of New Bern, Gail Green of Kelly, and Margaret Hinson of Whiteville.



She is preceded by her father, Harold Gaskins, and her sister, Susan.



The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, from 6-8 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Services will be Saturday, February 4, at 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Cemetery on Bethel Church Road.
