Sarah Melvin Monroe

Sarah Celeste Melvin Monroe, age 37, of Tar Heel passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014. She is preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Smith Melvin.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 1:00 until 1:45 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 pm. Rev. Randy Andrews will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Burney Family Cemetery.

Sarah is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Melvin of Dublin and Alexis Monroe of Elizabethtown; two sons, Kayden Hammonds of White Oak and Michael English of Elizabethtown; her father and step mother, Thomas and Ruby Melvin of Tar Heel; her brother, Ashley Melvin of West Va.; and her sister, Victoria Collier of Tar Heel.
