Stacy Wright

Stacy L. Wright, 83, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dewey Hobston Wright and Lunette Watts Wright, three brothers: David, FD, and Jimmy Wright, three sisters: Eunice Wright Hilburn, Margie Bordeaux and Laura Stubbs, one nephew: Dewey Alan Hilburn and two nieces: Jennifer Jo Wright and Carolyn Smith. Stacy is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Stacy loved his family and had a special place in his heart for abused animals. He was a man of great knowledge, especially when it came to silent movies. Stacy knew the production times and awards that they had received. He retired from Bladenboro Cotton Mill in the mid 90's as a lab technician. Stacy's magnetic personality and sense of humor will forever be missed.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Victor Singletary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cape Fear Valley Hospice or Bladen County SPCA.
