Stanley Johnson

Stanley Ray Johnson III, 64, of Cedar Point, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father: Stanley R. Johnson II. Stanley is survived by his mother: Lola C. Johnson of Fuquay Varina; wife: Florence Ann Johnson of the home; three sons: Joshua T. Johnson of Raleigh, Andrew Perry McDougald (Dana) of Cape Carteret, Ethan J. Johnson of Swansboro; daughter: Anna McDougald of Cedar Point; brother: Tim Johnson (Janet) of Apex; two brothers-in-law: Riley Evans (Toni) of Clarkton, Robert Evans (Kisa) of Raleigh; two sisters-in-law: Debbie Sherrill of Carolina Beach, Rose Mary Miller (William) of Wilmington; three grandchildren: Bryson R. Teeter, Dakota R. Wilson, Olivia G. Wilson and several nieces and nephews.

Stanley was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and garden. He was a man of faith devoted to his church, family and community. Stanley made a lasting expression on everyone who met him and he will be greatly missed by all.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 3pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Bladenboro with a funeral service at 4pm. Rev. Jimmy Strole will be officiating services. An entombment will follow services in church cemetery.
