Sylvia Nunnery

Sylvia Williams Nunnery, 69, of 303 Nunnery Ave.

Whiteville, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. She was born on January 7, 1942, to the late Dennis and Erlena W. Williams.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Andrew Nunnery, Jr. and her parents.



She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Joyner and husband Rusty of Kenly, NC and Diane Brigman and husband Lee of Clarkton; one brother, Lenwood Williams of Whiteville; one twin sister, Sonya Nunnery of Lake Waccamaw; five grandchildren, Andy Nunnery and wife Cheryl, Brandy Brigman, Tiffany, Crystal and Corie Joyner; one step-grandson, Shane Dowless; one great granddaughter, Liyah Westmoreland, and one step-great grandson, Ashton Dowless.



The family will receive friends on Friday, January 28, 2011, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at 2:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Chaplain David Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Nunnery Family Cemetery.
