Tammy Austin

Tammy Renee Austin, went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2016. Born on October 27, 1971 in Greenwood, MS, she was the mother of Matthew Austin and daughter of Deborah Busam of Calhoun City, MS and the late William Busam. She was a homemaker and very dedicated mother. She also enjoyed watching movies and participating in family events. Tammy always enjoyed keeping in touch with her family and friends. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to Matthew. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Besides her son and mother, she is survived by her sister, Jennifer Reed and husband Jeff of Chalmette, LA; her brother William Busam and wife Precious of Hickory Flats, MS; half-brothers, Justin Dickerson and wife Emily of Vilseck, Germany and Johnny Hollis of Calhoun, MS; Aunt Ann and Uncle Jr. Middleton of Bladenboro, NC; cousins, Walter Starr and wife Keesha of Leland, NC, Crystal Jones and husband Mark of Smithfield, VA and Kendra Revella and husband Derek of Ely, Cambridgeshire, UK and a host of nieces, nephews and second cousins. Honorary Pall Bearers are William Busam, Johnny Hollis, Justin Dickerson, and Allen Starr.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Dublin First Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Dublin First Baptist Church with the Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Burial will follow at J & L Holy Ghost Church Cemetery, Bladenboro, NC.
