Thomas Briggs

Thomas Reuben Briggs, 67, of Elizabethtown, formally of Norfolk VA, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 29, in the VA Hospital of Fayetteville. He was a cab driver with Yellow Cab for many years.



He is survived by a brother James Larry Briggs of Penn and two sisters: Sara Ann Stewart of Elizabethtown and Christine Maurice of Glouster VA.



Mr. Briggs is predeceased by his parents, Reuben Averette Briggs and Pauline Bingham Briggs and a sister Dorothy Jean Corona.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 31, from 6-8PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. The service will be Wednesday, February 1, at 2:00PM at White Oak Family Worship Center with Rev. Bill Tatum and Rev. Elex Tyler officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Family Worship Center Cemetery on Burney Road, White Oak.
