Thomas Grimes

Thomas "Tommy" Dexton Grimes, age 40 of Tar Heel, died Monday, June 22, 2015. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Lizzie Hunt and his paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Dexton Grimes. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Cecile Grimes; his wife Amanda Flowers Grimes; sons, Cacen Daniel Flowers, Jasper Carlyle Grimes and Lukas Evan Grimes; daughter, Hayley Sienna Flowers; sister Sebrina Elizabeth Harris; nephew, Drew Cameron Harris and niece, Lydia Faith Harris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Dublin Baptist Church. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Cameron McGill. Burial will follow at Grimes-Tatum Cemetery.
