Thomas White

Thomas Wayne White, died peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2018.

Wayne was born November 29, 1957, in Elizabethtown to Wendell Edward White. Except for eight years in Chapel Hill and Raleigh, he lived most of his life on the family farm of his forefathers located near White's Crossroads in Bladen County. He later resided in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Wayne graduated from East Bladen High School in 1976 where he lettered in two sports, football and track. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in 1980. He immediately enrolled at the University Of North Carolina School Of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 1983.

Wayne was predeceased by his father Wendell Edward White, of Elizabethtown, North Carolina. His adoptive mother Ann Thompson, of Linville, North Carolina and also of Vero Beach John's Island, Florida; and his step son Cole Frame of Salisbury, North Carolina.

Wayne is survived by his wife Wyn Isenhour White of Salisbury, North Carolina, his step son Beau Blair and wife Heather and their two children Jack and Kate. Also by Hugh Thompson of Linville, North Carolina and Vero Beach John's Island, Florida. As well as many cousins and dear friends.

As per Wayne's wishes, there will be no visitation. There will only be a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts or donations may be made to the nonprofit organization of your choice in his memory.
