Tina Edwards

Tina Rene Edwards, 49, of Elizabethtown went to her eternal home on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her mother Bessie Ward. Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Tyler Crocker and wife Lacey of Elizabethtown, Austin Tomlinson of Elizabethtown, and Jordan Tomlinson and spouse Cody Kelly of Elizabethtown, three brothers, Dean Edwards of Lafayette, TN, Ricky Ward of Tabor City, and Jonathan Ward, also of Tabor City, and two grandsons, Waylon Crocker, and Landon Crocker.

Tina was a caring, compassionate, and kind lady who was very big on family. She adored not only her three sons and grandsons but everyone that came into her life. She welcomed each with an abundance of kindness, open arms, and unconditional love. Tina never allowed anyone or anything to break her. She lived life with great strength and perseverance. She loved to spend time with family and friends, having bonfires, cookouts, or trips to the beach. Her golden heart stopped beating but the love she shared with so many will eternally be remembered and felt by all.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, July 16th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17th at 10:00 am at White Oak Baptist Church in White Oak with Rev. Danny Lewis officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro.
