Valmer Williams

Valmer "Charles" Williams, 75, of Clarkton entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents: Valmer Williams and Dorothy Kathleen Bowen Williams. Mr. Charles leaves behind one daughter: Denise Williams Lana and husband Scott of Purcellville, VA; two brothers: James Williams (Phyllis) and Bennie Williams, both of Clarkton; two sisters: Dorothy Williams Clark of Candler and Rose Williams of Bladenboro; and three grandchildren: Zachary Smart, Finlay Lana and Fox Lana.

Charles was a loving, outgoing, well-educated man. He was passionate about his family, fishing, firearms and law enforcement. Charles taught Criminal Justice at Bladen Community College, for the local SBI Agency, and many other establishments. He was an amazing man with a great sense of humor. One that will not soon be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life Service is planned for 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Guyton officiating.
