Vicky Smith

Vicky Louanna Wilkes Smith, 63, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Southeastern Hospice Care in Lumberton, NC. She was born June 29, 1957, in Elizabethtown, NC. She was a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord. Vicky cherished her sons, grandchildren, and family very much.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jane Wilkes, her father Elwood Bo Wilkes, four sisters: Sudie Jackson, Shirley Welch, Jeannie Wilkes, and Brenda Smith, one brother John Wilkes and a special friend Henry Oxendine. Vicky leaves behind four sons: Robert Wilkes (Jesica), Shaun Parker (Felicia), Tracy Smith and Brandon Smith, six grandchildren: Nicholas Locklear, Christin Parker, Ralee Wilkes, Alexis Parker, Gracie Wilkes, and Keaton Smith, three brothers: James Wilkes, Bobby Sessoms and Marshall Sessoms and a host of special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Kinlaw officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
